The 25-year-old joined Bolton in the January transfer window after leaving Blackpool and went on to become a first choice selection for Ian Evatt in the holding midfield row.
He went on to play a total of 21 times for Wanderers as the club went from the bottom half of League Two to securing automatic promotion back to League One following victory over Crawley Town on the road over the weekend.
