TRIBUTES have been paid to TV legend Graham Skidmore who was known for millions as the voice of Blind Date. The star - who was heard but not seen on the iconic show - has died aged 90.

He was a regular fixture on the show through the 1980s and 90s and had the nickname “Our Graham”. And from 1993 to 2002 his instantly recognisable tones were heard when he did the voice over for Vic and Bob’s Shooting Stars.

The father of three, who had five grandchildren, died on 27th December, but the news has only just come out. He had vascular dementia for his last 10 years and spent his final years living in Kent.
