Cheshire West and Chester Council is working with Defra, Public Health England and the Animal and Plant Health Agency following the outbreak of avian flu at a poultry farm in Tarporley, CheshireLive reports.
The specific farm has not been identified by officials. Workers at the site, which houses 4,500 birds, raised the alarm when they noticed they were becoming unwell.
