Ben Fogle, 51, is a well-known face on British television, presenting wildlife-themed programmes across BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.

His recent work includes Channel 5's Ben Fogle and the Buried City, Endurance: Race to the Pole and Into the Congo with Ben Fogle.

Fogle first came into the public eye after his participation in the BBC reality show Castaway 2000, which involved 36 individuals attempting to build a self-sufficient community on the Scottish island of Taransay over the course of a year.

Born to actress Julia Foster and veterinarian Bruce Fogle, Ben was privately educated at the Hall School in Hampstead, London and Bryanston School in Dorset.
