Ruben Amorim will walk into enemy territory for the first time as Manchester United manager at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday - but the white hot atmosphere won't faze him.

This is a man who crossed the derby divide in Portugal and has been on both ends of the emotions as a fan, player and manager.

And while the Lisbon derby is perhaps not on the scale of what Amorim will experience this weekend, it is hardly a tea party.

Amorim grew up a Benfica fan and cheered on his heroes growing up, he was rejected by the club as a youngster, signed for them in his 20s and then became manager of their city rivals.
