Bella Hadid receives apology from Instagram after ‘proud’ post of her dad’s passport is removed

Page Six reports that Instagram has reached out to Bella and apologised over the post’s removal. A spokesperson for Facebook – the parent company of Instagram – explained that for privacy purposes they don’t allow information, such as passport numbers, to be posted.

Although, they added Bella’s post shouldn’t have been taken down as the passport number had already been blurred out. ‘To protect the privacy of our community, we don’t allow people to post personal information, such as passport numbers, on Instagram.
