Strictly Come Dancing fans have said they have 'never been so annoyed' as they called out what they claim to be 'double standards' in this year's comments and scores from the judges.

The latest live show on Saturday night (November 9) marked week eight of the BBC One dance contest and saw the nine remaining couples in the competition return to the ballroom in the hope of impressing enough to book themselves a place in next week's annual Blackpool special.

Opening the show this weekend was Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and her dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec, who quickstepped to Fantasy by Mariah Carey.

The pair "offered everything we needed to see in a quick step", according to Shirley Ballas, and they were awarded 37 points from the judges.
