BBC Strictly Come Dancing pro 'can't believe it' over shock milestone after 11 years

Strictly Come Dancing's Aljaz Skorjanec was visibly shocked on Tuesday's episode of It Takes Two after a surprising fact was unveiled.

During last weekend's show, Aljaz, 34, and his dance partner Tasha Ghouri received the season's first perfect score of 40 for their American Smooth to Lewis Capaldi's Someone You Loved, culminating in a standing ovation from the audience.

On the It Takes Two episode, host Fleur East, 37, brought up an exciting piece of trivia for Aljaz following the outstanding achievement.

She noted: "This was your third perfect score on the show, Aljaz. Your other two were with Abbey Clancy." A bewildered Aljaz, who triumphed with Abbey in 2013 during the 11th series of Strictly, expressed his astonishment over the fact with: "This is my first perfect score after Abbey Clancy?" to which Tasha asked: "How many years ago was that?" with Aljaz responding: "11 years ago!" Asking if it still impacts him in the same way getting that perfect score, Aljaz admitted: "I think even more so!" he added: "I think it affects me even more because with Abbey Clancy it was my first season, everything comes so fast at you.
