BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Kai Widdrington says 'no joke' as he gives final update

Kai Widdrington has been seen working up a sweat as he's set to return to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom for one last time this year.

The professional dancer wasn't given a celebrity partner this year, much to the upset of fans of the BBC One dance contest. He later told the Daily Star about the decision: "Everyone wants to get a celebrity.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t my time this series. Two boys couldn’t have one in this series, and sadly, I am one of them. "Some of us don’t get partners and that’s the way it is." Kai did, however, add of his hopes for future series: "Let’s see what happens next year.

Hopefully I’ll get one then."
