Amy Dowden has described the Strictly Come Dancing final as 'bittersweet' as she gave a health update during her latest TV appearance.

The professional dancer was joined by co-star and friend Carlos Gu on BBC Breakfast on Wednesday (December 18) as they discussed the recent end of the hit dance show, which saw the grand final take place on Saturday night (December 14) and their upcoming tour together.

As the interview got underway, host Sally Nugent said: "First of all, Amy, how are you?" to which she replied: "I'm doing really well, thank you, yeah, really good.

To dance in the final was just lush. Especially considering the two years that I've had, absolutely!"
