BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Amy Dowden issues major show update as she says 'back'

Amy Dowden has thrilled fans with her latest update as she was seen back in the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom. The dancer suffered heartbreak earlier in this year's competition having been partnered with JLS star JB Gill.

Amy, 35, had returned for the 2024 run of the BBC One dance competition after missing out on last year's series while undergoing treatment following a breast cancer diagnosis.

But, the Welsh star had to withdraw from Strictly's 20th-anniversary series last month after suffering an insufficiency stress fracture to her foot, which happened towards the end of October amidst the show's annual Halloween special. But it appears Amy could be making a more prominent return to the Strictly ballroom as the latest series comes to an end. While she has been seen on the show since her upsetting exit, Amy has tased fans with a photo of her behind the scenes at Elstree Studio.
