BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Aljaz Skorjanec hit with 'should have been' comment over 'living rent free' admission

Aljaz Skorjanec has been hit with the same 'should have been comment' as he reflected on his latest Strictly Come Dancing performance with celebrity partner Tasha Ghouri.

The pair have been impressing in the BBC One dance contest from the very start and last weekend, as the show headed to Blackpool for its annual special, Tasha and Aljaz once again topped the leaderboard alongside actress Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola.

Week nine of Strictly's 2024 series was broadcast from the town's legendary Tower Ballroom on Saturday night (November 16) and celebrated its 20th year by opening with the professional dancers dancing to the Pet Shop Boys performing a medley of their hits, including It’s A Sin, Suburbia and What Have I Done To Deserve This. Judge Motsi Mabuse described Tasha's intense and dramatic paso doble routine to Nathan Lanier’s Torn, during which professional Aljaz Skorjanec flung her through his legs, as the "dance of the night" before they were awarded 39 out of possible 40 points.
