Aljaz Skorjanec has confirmed his 'last day' as he offered an update days after the Strictly Come Dancing final. The professional dancer made a much-welcome return to the dance show for the 2024 series after a two-year hiatus.
For Strictly's 20th-anniversary series this year, Aljaz was partnered with former Love Island star and the pair made it through to the series' grand final after fighting back from two dreaded dance-offs in a row.
On the night of the Strictly grand final on Saturday (December 14), Tasha and Aljaz finished joint top of the leaderboard alongside JB Gill and Lauren Oakley, after the four finalists - including Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell and Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola - had to perform three dances each. Aljaz has since reflected on his Strictly return as he hailed Tasha for helping him 'fall in love' again. After taking some time to wind down after the final, the dancer shared pictures of them in action on the dance floor during the final and the Slovenian star said: "Took a day to reflect… "The last 6 months have been one of the happiest, toughest, and most rewarding moments ever for me.
