Ayrshire MSP has branded BBC Scotland's decision to axe live TV coverage of the First Minister’s briefings as scandalous.Willie Coffey hit out at the broadcaster after announcing that they will instead decide whether to air them based on “editorial merit”.The Kilmarnock and Irvine Valley politician has written to the head of BBC Scotland and urged them to reverse the decision.Hundreds of fresh coronavirus cases are now being recorded each day in Scotland.Ayrshire has also been reporting a considerable rise in positive tests too.
