Vernon Kay has hinted at a potential move away from the UK.The the Radio 2 host and husband of Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly revealed on the Changes with Annie MacManus podcast that he'd love another shot at making it big in America, after previously missing out on three opportunities to work there.
When asked about changes he'd like to make in his life, Vernon said: "Well, flippantly, I'd like another crack at America because I think I messed up.
I did three network shows for America. I wouldn't say I messed that up. I think looking back, I was inexperienced." He added: "I think, knowing, being more confident in myself and the way I work, I'd like another go at a game show in America. That's a big change." Despite his doubts about it happening, Vernon, 50, expressed regret over missed opportunities, saying: "I doubt it'll happen, but that's the one thing where I'm like: 'Oh, it was right there." He also mentioned his past American TV gigs, including a stint hosting the Million Dollar Mind Game for ABC and NBC.
Vernon and Tess, 55, are one of the most influential couples in the entertainment industry, with both having successful careers in television and radio, reports Lancs Live.
