EastEnders fans are convinced they've sussed out Stevie Mitchell's real game plan, after the Mitchell patriarch made a surprise reappearance in Walford on Monday night.
Steve, played by Guy Ritchie star Alan Ford, arrived on Albert Square in the soap's latest episode, leaving his estranged son Billy Mitchell both stunned and angry over the unexpected visit. The character first appeared earlier this year at Aunt Sal's funeral, and quickly highlighted the frosty relationship he had with his son, after having surrendered him into care as a child.
Phil Mitchell had previously warned him to stay away from his cousin Billy, but after running off, the character returned on Monday night, with Billy and Phil making it clear he wasn't welcome in Tuesday night's episode.
Stevie tried to charm his way back in, but Phil saw right through him while a frustrated Billy stormed off. Later, Honey comforted Billy and urged him to talk to his dad.
