BBC Breakfast fans were left amused when the programme suffered an unexpected slip-up on Friday (January 24). Anchor Charlie Stayt was mid-interview with Tana Adkin KC of the Criminal Bar Association, when the camera suddenly shifted to two stunned crew members outside the BBC Sport studio.The pair darted off-screen upon realising their cameo.The audience wasted no time and rushed to X (previously known as Twitter) to poke fun at the gaffe.

One amused viewer posted: "#BBCBreakfast hahahaha. We see ya." Another joined in with a laugh, "When you didn't expect to become a star on @BBCBreakfast.

Love their awkward looks, as they slunk back off camera! ! ! " Yet another chimed in, "#BBCBreakfast gone wrong. Smile please," accompanied by several viewers sharing laughs with a stream of laughing emojis.
