BBC Breakfast's Nina Warhurst has delighted her followers with an exciting career update that sees her stepping away from the familiar early morning sofa.

The mother-of-three joined a prestigious list of celebrities, including Tom Hardy, Derek Jacobi, and George Ezra, by participating in CBeebies Bedtime Stories.

Nina, who is regularly seen alongside presenters such as Charlie Stayt, Jon Kay, and Roger Johnson on BBC Breakfast, was spotted on the CBeebies set with Welsh presenter Rebecca Keatley, The Sun reports.

Accompanied by her three children for the special occasion, Nina shared on Instagram Stories that this was the rare moment they showed interest in her work, saying: "It was the one and only time they have taken any interest in Mummy's job." She uploaded several photos from the day, showing her kids - Digby, Michael, and Nancy - thoroughly enjoying themselves.
