Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu is reportedly facing accusations of corruption in Spain as the ongoing crisis at the club appears to have worsened.
While the transfer situation involving Barca talisman Lionel Messi is the main issue at hand for the board, the club are also currently being investigated over their relationship with social media firm I3 Ventures.
Allegations from Spanish publication now claim the Catalan police have filed a report to the judge in that case accusing Bartomeu of 'possible economic crimes' in pursuit of personal gain.
According to the report, Barcelona paid up to six times more for the services of I3 Ventures than what would be deemed a standard fee.
