Viewers were left in shock and fits of laughter as Alison Hammond took a dramatic tumble on The Great British Bake Off.The 49 year old This Morning presenter was in high spirits during the episode on Tuesday 13 November, playfully messing around on set.
However, she didn't expect to nearly do a backwards roll while perched on the table top. Alison tried to perform a leg spin on the counter, saying she wanted to "add some happiness to the task" but she got more than she bargained for when she fell backwards onto the floor.
Her fall left her fellow bakers stunned as she laughed off her mishap from behind the counter. "Don't come over here - leave me!" she shouted, red-faced.
However, host Noel Fielding couldn't resist joining in the fun, lying on top of the star. "That is the best thing I've seen ever!!" he told her - and viewers at home seemed to agree.
