Married at First Sight UK star Shona Manderson has divided fans after sharing a "stomach-churning" video.The 32 year old took to TikTok where she posted a short clip titled 'Watch my boyfriend pop my ganglion cyst.' Captioning the video, she said: "I’ve been to the doctors many times over the years and they wont drain it and I don't want to keep paying privately so this is the answer for now.Thanks @Matt Pilmoor [red love heart emojis]." Matt, 30, proceeded to help her pop the the cyst by hitting it with a book, before successfully bursting it.

According to the NHS, a ganglion cyst is a fluid-filled swelling that usually develops near a joint or tendon.The cyst can range from the size of a pea to the size of a golf ball.

Shona's followers were left disgusted by the video, with one person writing: "Noooo made my stomach churn. Couldn't look after 2nd hit!" "I can’t tell you how awkward and anxious this made me feel I had to keep looking away," another said.

A third added: "I held my breath for most of the video!" Some else commented: "I had to cover my eyes so I couldn't see and take my hearing aids out so I couldn't hear it xx." However, others applauded Matt for helping Shona with her ailment. "You got yourself a good one," said a fan, while a second added: "How lovely is Matt x." The pair, who didn't cross paths during the show due to being in the experiment at different stages, turned up hand-in-hand at the Married At First Sight UK: Reunion Special, leaving their co-stars speechless.They first met at the initial reunion show recorded in June 2023 and hit it off straight away.
