Shoppers love a good price war, especially when it comes to Christmas chocolate. That's exactly what's happened with a giant retro tin of Quality Street this festive season.

We reported last week how supermarkets Asda and Sainsbury's were selling the retro-style limited edition tins for £8, which was more than half the price of Amazon's tin - where it's on sale for £17.99 - less than the typical £12 cost and even less than B&M's £10.

But now the budget retailer has gone one better and slashed its price by almost a third, bringing the cost of the 813g tins down to just £6.99.

The price works out at 86p per 100g, which works out even less than its plastic tubs of the treats, costing £5.50 for 600g, or 91.7p per 100g.
