Ayrshire Maternity Unit issues update on visiting restrictions for pregnant women during lockdown

Ayrshire Maternity Unit (AMU) has issued an update on visiting restrictions following mainland Scotland going into full lockdown again.

The NHS Ayrshire & Arran service has said that there is currently no change to visiting restrictions.In a Facebook post, NHS Ayrshire And Arran Women and Children’s Service run by AMU, stated that pregnant women are still able to have one designated partner at appointments.The post states: "After yesterday’s Scottish Government announcement that Scotland is back into a full lockdown, we would like to reassure you that within Women and Children’s, there is currently no change to Tier 4 visiting restrictions."You are still able to have one designated partner attend your appointments for community midwife,.
