Major supermarket chains have recalled Primula cheese products over fears they could contain Clostridium botulinum.A statement on the Primula website reads: "Yesterday we issued a product recall alert for all our Primula Cheese tubes following the discovery of Clostridium botulinum in one of our products. "Our teams have been working round the clock and we can now confirm that only tubes with the below best before dates are affected by the product recall: "Your safety and wellbeing is our number one priority and therefore, as a precaution, we have stopped all product distribution.
We have also instructed retailers to remove Primula tubes from shelves with immediate effect."We also advise you not to eat any Primula Cheese tubes you have.
