Arsenal legend Ian Wright sent a coronavirus message to fans after the club went into self-isolation. The Gunners are out of action for at least three weeks, with all football in England postponed until April 3 to contact COVID-19.

Mikel Arteta’s positive test for the disease saw the north London side become one of the first to move their players into self-isolation.

And now Wright, who scored 185 goals in nearly 300 appearances for the Gunners, has sent a message to fans. The Englishman shared a snap on Instagram from his playing days with the London side.

Accompanying the snap, he said: “Stay safe everyone. “Appreciate life.” This was posted on Wright’s Instagram channel on Friday, where it has been liked more than 50,000 times.
