Arsenal’s dismal 2-0 defeat to Tottenham has heaped even more pressure on manager Mikel Arteta. The Gunners fell to another loss, their third in four Premier League games leaving them marooned in the bottom half of the table.
Arteta’s side have scored just 10 times in 11 league games so far this season, the lowest of any team outside the relegation zone.
It appears almost certain that Arsenal will be active in the January window, with Arteta desperate to add more creativity to his struggling squad.
The player linked more heavily than any other is RB Salzburg attacking midfielder, Dominik Szoboszlai. And according to the Athletic, Arsenal could get their man for as little as €25million, due to the player’s release clause.
