Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Ben Parkinson, the worst ever injured army officer to survive his injuries in Afghanistan war, appeared on Good Morning Britain on Thursday where he spoke to hosts Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid about his inspiring attitude towards life.
The paratrooper's Land Rover hit a land mine in 2006, and Ben amongst his 37 injuries, je lost both his legs, twisted his spine and received brain damage that affected his memory, movement, speech and concentration.
But his sense of humour prevailed as he joked with the GMB hosts about wanting to play the next James Bond, plus he revealed he plans to parachute off Mount Everest. "I am lost for words, so you've got to get up there first, and then jump off, I assume?" asked Ben.
