Rangers are on the verge of landing their No.1 transfer target an agreement was reached in principle to sign Antonio Colak – according to multiple reports in Greece.

Gio van Bronckhorst is a major admirer of the 28-year-old who knows all about Ibrox after helping Malmo dump them out of Champions League qualifying last season.

And now Colak is set to experience life as a Rangers player now and is set to put the finishing touches on his switch to Glasgow.

PAOK have been eyeing £2.5m for the forward and it's understood all parties are close to agreeing terms. The Croatia international has led a nomadic existence in recent years but was a smash hit during his season-long loan stay with Malmo last season.
