The 20-year-old emerged as the latest Light Blues target earlier this week and he has now agreed to make the switch from Bavaria to Govan on an initial loan which could then be turned into a permanent deal at the end of the campaign.
It’s a coup for van Bronckhorst after reports suggesting Tillman looked to be heading to the English Premier League where clubs were keen on landing the player.
But Rangers won the race for his signature and announced in a club statement: “Rangers Football Club are today delighted to announce the signing of Malik Tillman on a season-long loan from Bayern Munich, with an exclusive option to buy subject to international clearance. "The 20-year-old attacking midfielder becomes Rangers’ fifth signing of the summer transfer window.
