An anti-racism group claims they "scared off" far right protesters during an event at a hotel housing asylum seekers in West Lothian tonight.
Around 150 people turned up at the Cairn Hotel in Bathgate at around 6pm to "defend refugees, asylum seekers and immigrants".The hotel is currently being used to house asylum seekers and word spread during the week that far-right groups were set to hold a demonstration outside. However, locals mixed with activists and trade unionists arrived in numbers to take their place outside the hotel.
