Anthony Martial has rubbished rumours of a divide between Cristiano Ronaldo and his Manchester United teammates. Reports of unrest in the Old Trafford dressing room have followed United throughout the season, with friction between some players seen as a factor behind United’s poor performances.
Interim boss Ralf Rangnick has been unable to quell those rumours, with more reports emerging since his arrival. Ronaldo has found himself at the heart of many of the dressing room spat rumours.
Various reports have suggested that players have fallen out with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, including captain Harry Maguire. The 37-year-old’s trip to Portugal during the Manchester derby - which he missed through injury - also fuelled speculation he had fallen out with his manager.
