Club football was back in full swing this weekend after the final international break of the season. Manchester United couldn't pick up where they left off in the league as they produced an uninspiring draw with Leicester City as they failed to close the gap on Arsenal in fourth.
They momentarily moved level on points with Tottenham Hotspur but Antonio Conte's side soon pulled away with a comprehensive 5-1 win over Newcastle.
There were contrasting fortunes for United players plying their trade at temporary clubs. A total of 14 players were sent out on loan in the summer, plus a further five in January with some even switching loan clubs in the midseason market.
