Anthony Joshua will face Jermaine Franklin in London on Saturday night, with his first fight at the O2 Arena since 2016 as he hopes to bounce back from successive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.
Joshua has had the toughest run of his career, losing to Andy Ruiz Jr. in 2019 before reclaiming his belts only to be beaten by Usyk, firstly in 2021 before again in 2022.
However, his return this week has been marketed as a 'New Dawn for the Brit, with new trainer Derrick James guiding him through a return to action.
He fights at a familiar venue, with the O2 Arena having played host to a number of his early fights. He has fought there a total of seven times, with the last fight being a win against American Dominic Breazeale in 2015 before he became a world champion a year later by beating Charles Martin.
