Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn confirmed their interest in a fight against Tyson Fury next despite making hard work of his fight against Jermaine Franklin on Saturday night.
Joshua won by a unanimous decision in the fight at London’s O2 Arena, his first victory since 2020. It was not a convincing display as a conservative start to the fight gave way to a more exciting finish.
Franklin remained a constant threat despite the superior technical skill of Joshua.
