Annan fisherman David Devlin is back in the UK after the trawler he was on was released by French authorities on Wednesday.The scallop dredger Cornelis Gert Jan was detained in Le Havre, Normandy, amid a post-Brexit dispute over fishing licences.Former Annan Academy pupil Devlin, 45, was on board the trawler, which was seized a week ago, is now back in the UK with the boat moored in Shoreham, West Sussex.The boat is owned by Peterhead-based Macduff Shellfish, which bought Dumfries’ Scott Trawlers for £10 million in 2012.Macduff Shellfish director Andrew Brown said everyone at the company was “delighted” at the news, as the crew of the Cornelis Gert Jan set sail for home from Le Havre on Wednesday afternoon.He added: “The crew have acted
