Archie Fraser rose to the prominence Down Under when he was appointed as head of the A-League in 2009. During his year at the helm Fraser - who left Scotland in 1980 aged 21 after coming through the ranks at Morton - sought to improve the level of coaching across Australia and soon discovered that one of the most qualified men on the circuit was out of work.
That man was Postecoglou. And a chance meeting later that year ended in the man who is now frontrunner to take over at Celtic being appointed as Brisbane Roar boss just days later.
