Andy Walker believes Celtic will want to sign another striker similar to Giorgos Giakoumakis if the Greek players decides to move on in the January window.According to reports the 28-year-old is believed to be wanted by Danish outfit FC Midtjylland, however there is a stumbling block of his valuation with the Premiership leaders looking to make a healthy profit on the deal.
Record Sport revealed last month that talks with the Parkhead side over a new deal had broken down and Giakoumakis had been left unsettledSpeaking on Go Radio, Walker said he rates Giakoumakis highly.
He added: "I'm not sure. Celtic are always a club to do business with to make a profit on a player. I have said all along that I've enjoyed Giakoumakis, I've liked his attitude when he's pretty much been a regular substitute.
When he comes on he can turn games, he was involved in the Kyogo goal by bustling a couple of Rangers players. "His last two performances, apart from the game at New Year, against Rangers I think he was absolutely terrific.
