Andreas Pereira has pledged to pay back Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's faith at Manchester United. The United midfielder has been given a prominent role by Solskjaer in the past year or so at Old Trafford, with mixed results.
Pereira has been the subject of criticism from supporters but retains the backing of his manager. And the Brazilian, a product of the United academy, wants to prove that the club's youth policy can yield results and "protect" the faith shown in him by Solskjaer. “Even when I came to United at such a young age, going to United it's, of course, a massive club, but I know that they are willing to give youth a chance,” he said in an official United Google Hangout. “That is what happened with me.
