JB and Amy were originally partnered on the show, before a foot injury meant that Amy had to retire from the rest of the series.
Since last month, JB has been paired with Lauren Oakley. However, Amy was on hand to present JB with a cake to celebrate his 38th birthday after he finished his first dance of the evening.
One viewer wrote: “How lovely was it to see Amy Dowden give JB Gill a birthday cake and sing happy birthday to him,” while another commented: “Amy bringing JB a cake, love how she’s so supportive,” and a third simply shared a sobbing face emoji.
