Amy Dowden has made an emotional statement following her exit from Strictly Come Dancing, revealing that she is “determined to keep pushing”.
Having been treated for stage 3 breast cancer last year, Amy was unable to take part in the show while she recovered from chemotherapy This year Amy, 34, made a triumphant return to the BBC ballroom alongside JLS singer JB Gill.
Sadly, it was announced last week that the pro dancer would be withdrawing from the competition after sustaining a foot injury.
Since pulling out of the 20th anniversary series, Amy has focused on her recovery and previously revealed that doctors were hopeful that she could be dancing by December.
