Amy Dowden has been flooded with messages of support as she made her own declaration of praise to her former celebrity dance partner JB Gill following her return to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom.

The Welsh dancer had returned for this year's series of the BBC One dance competition after missing out last year while undergoing treatment following a breast cancer diagnosis, but she had to withdraw earlier this month after suffering an insufficiency stress fracture to her foot.

JLS singer JB has been dancing with professional Lauren Oakley since Amy's injury, which happened towards the end of last month amidst the show's Halloween special, with the pair securing a near-perfect score on Saturday night's (November 23) lives show. That’s My Baby by Firehouse Five Plus Two, Gill flipped Oakley upside down and in a cartwheel spin. After showing off his quick footwork and completing a series of dramatic lifts, the pair were awarded 39 points out of 40 by the judges.
