But it was Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe who were under the spotlight, having narrowly escaped elimination last week in a dance-off against Sam Quek.
Scoring a solid 35 previously, they're eager to impress with their Paso Doble this time around. However, as the show got underway, the focus shifted to Amy Dowden's unexpected withdrawal from the competition due to injury.
