As Alan Carr and Amanda Holden made their hosting debut together - following Alan's solo stint in 2021 - fans were not impressed with their opening sketch.

The event, which was pre-recorded last month and aired on Sunday, received criticism from viewers who took to X to voice their opinions.

One fan bluntly stated: "Amanda Holden, no thanks #RoyalVarietyPerformance."
