Amanda Holden breaks down in tears on radio show after incredibly emotional message

Amanda Holden was visibly moved during her radio show on Heart FM on Wednesday 18 December after she played emotional messages listeners had sent in for her guest, nine year old Harry.

On a previous show, Amanda and her co-host Jason King, known as JK, had told their fans that Harry had been diagnosed with cancer after a tumour had been found at the back of his brain a year ago.

Harry has been fighting the cancer and has had chemotherapy to treat the disease which has now spread to his spinal cord. On the show, Amanda played messages for Harry from his teachers and friends, with one of his teachers calling him an “absolute star.” One friend said: “I was just shocked to hear the news, why does it have to happen to him?

Brain tumours don’t happen that often, but they have to happen to him. Harry, I can’t wait to play with you soon.” The two presenters, Harry and his mum were moved by the lovely messages with Amanda commenting: "Oh wow, we are all crying here, every single person in the studio.
