A huge apartment block in Stockport and hundreds of homes replacing a cricket club in Bury are the most significant plans tabled this week.
East Lancs Paper Mill Cricket Club would have to be moved entirely in order to build 400 new homes in the area. This comes as Morris Homes Limited puts forward a scheme which covers this area and Tower Farm in Radcliffe.
Over in Stockport’s centre, a new 20-storey tower block would create 245 new homes. The derelict Victoria House office building would have to be demolished as part of these plans.
