All adults in the UK have been promised their first dose of the Covid vaccine by September - while government sources are claiming it could come even earlier.

Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab made the pledge today after sources told the Sunday Telegraph they were optimistic about the speed of the rollout.

The newspaper reported hopes that every adult who wants it might get their first jab by the end of June after delivery accelerates to five million a week.
