Though Alison was only a child at the time, she remembers going to watch the American boxing legend fight - and even being sat on his knee aged four.
While discussing her new autobiography on GMB, Alison even confessed she was a bit rude to Ali, and told him “get off” and jokingly wishes she could go back in time and say sorry.
But he must have done something right as she was actually named after him.Alison, 46, said: "I mean can you believe it? They weren’t just mates, he [my dad] was his bodyguard so every time he came over to Birmingham my dad would be looking after Muhammad Ali, the legend.
