Viewers who phoned in to This Morning on Wednesday 13 November reduced host Alison Hammond to tears during a segment about acts of kindness.
Alison and co-host Cat Deeley were chatting to author Rosie Nixon about her book Be Kind, and they were marking World Kindness Day by asking people to phone in and talk about kind moments they had experienced.
One caller named Abigail said that her father’s sight is deteriorating, which means in the future he would not be able to see his daughter in a wedding dress.
She revealed that a local woman had invited them both into her bridal store to try some dresses on, so Abigail’s dad could see his daughter in a gown and have that memory.
