Death row killer Alfred Bourgeois used his last words before his execution to insist he did not murder his two-year-old daughter.
The 56-year-old was executed at a federal penitentiary in Terre Haute, Indiana, on December 11. He was pronounced dead at 8.21pm after receiving a lethal injection.
He was on death row for the killing and torturing of his two-year-old daughter, according to a Justice Department summary of the case.
A report by the Federal Bureau of Prisons said Bourgeois "physically and emotionally tortured, and then beat to death his two-and-a-half-year-old daughter".
