Alec Baldwin has shared a crewmate's statement insisting there were no safety concerns on the filmset of Rust, prior to a tragic shooting death.The 63 year old actor's move comes nearly two weeks after the accidental shooting, in which a prop gun Alec was holding fired unexpectedly - killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.The film’s director Joel Souza was also injured in the shooting.
A police investigation is ongoing into the shooting, specifically looking into how the live round came to be in the firearm.
Now, Alec has shared a post by costume designer Terese Magpale Davis, who said she worked on the film, refuting any idea that they worked in "unsafe, chaotic conditions" while filming.
